Baltimore, Maryland (May 13, 2011): The National Federation of the Blind (NFB), the nation’s oldest and largest organization of blind people, today announced the winners of its 2011 Scholarship Program, which awards thirty scholarships each year to recognize achievement by blind scholars. To recognize achievement by blind scholars, the National Federation of the Blind annually offers blind college students in the United States the opportunity to win one of thirty national scholarships worth from $3,000 to $12,000.
